Is Leawood south an area of Leawood or an actual subdivison? The homes look more mature than I was expecting for that area. Seemed like a nice price point.
@ Aaron Rollins: Leawood South is a subdivision in the city of Leawood. Most areas in Leawood Kansas that are south of I-435 are considered Southern Leawood. It’s also the newer area of Leawood as growth has grown from north to south over the years. The subdivision Leawood South is interesting in that when it was built it was much farther south than most other Leawood home communities. But over the years growth worked it’s way to, around and then beyond the Leawood South subdivision. So if you like older homes with large trees and don’t mind being surrounding generally by newer and often larger homes, then Leawood South is an excellent option.
