		<description>Great insight Jason...but there are loans that are being funded now that don&#039;t require the dreaded Mortgage Insurance in select areas.  USDA loans are being funded again by a select group of investors.  Zero down loans at least for a few minutes are back!!! 

But you are right in the sense, that a Pre-Approval letter shouldn&#039;t be looked at like a blank check.  If your mortgage professional isn&#039;t sitting down with you finding out what your comfortable paying, finding out what type of &quot;payment shock&quot; you can tolerate by asking a few simple questions than you should move on to the next professional.
