We’ve finally gotten deep into spring in Kansas City and the excessive rain has finally began to let up. While it helped us get out of the severe drought we’ve been in since last year, it also come with a lot of flooding issues (some basements included) and hopefully we stay in a more moderate precipitation pattern for the rest of June.

Should you be coming to town in the next couple of weeks to assess a relocation to Kansas City, Johnson County KS, Overland Park or the surrounding area, you’ll probably need a break at some point from the home search. Just when we thought winter was very much over, mother nature dumps us with what one weather man described as just the 5th May snowfall on record in Kansas City. Fortunately the ground was too warm to do any damage and we’re already getting back to spring-like weather in Kansas City.

As we head towards continue warmer weather, more clients are contacting us regarding making a move to Kansas City, Johnson County KS, Overland Park or the surrounding area. March Events In Kansas City — A Cinderella Story

I’ve been asking for some snow after it looked like we were going to make it through another winter of not getting the boys out sledding. Well, we got snow… and more snow. It’s been a long time since we’ve had THIS kind of snow pile up and mother nature definitely let us know that spring is not yet here. Should you be in town on a relocation visit and checking out homes with us in the next week, don’t expect to see any grass…. And be sure to bring some snow boots, you’re going to need them!

This weekend we head into December and people are turning their attention towards the holiday season… On my street, half the homes already have Christmas lights up. We’re still waiting on the first snow of the season and showings usually remain decent until the first heavy snow of December in Kansas City — we’ll see how that plays out this year.
