Hands On The Heartland
Checking The Pulse Of The Kansas City Real Estate Market
The Kansas City Home Builders Association’s Spring Homes Tour is in week two of three this weekend and if you’ve taken part in any of the homes tours over the years, you know just how much fun it can be. Getting to view homes in your preferred price range and favorite areas, can be a really enjoyable way to spend a day.
I’ve had the pleasure of being a judge on the Kansas City Home Builders Association Homes Tour in the past and there really is nothing quite like getting out to view so many homes at one time. In it’s 60th year, the Tour continues to amaze visitors each Spring and Fall. Even with all of the homes I’ve viewed over the years, I still enjoy getting out to see the unique communities, architecture, home features, upgrades and decorating ideas that the tour showcases.
You can stop by any sales office on the Tour to pick up the Parade of Homes magazine guide or you can start your Spring Homes Tour online. There are 337 homes on the tour in great communities like Cedar Creek, Wilshire Farms, Falcon Ridge, Symphony Farms and The National. If you’ve been wondering what you’re missing with today’s competitive home prices, amazing low mortgage rates and the First Time Homebuyer tax credit, then get out this weekend and view the homes in your favorite city!
